Book Review:-Faith by Len deighton

This is the first book of his third Bernard Samson trilogy. This book starts from late 1987.Samson is yanked from California and send to East Germany on a secret mission. The mission backfires and Samson is in trouble again. This book like all Bernard Samson novels have its fair share of car chases, double crossings, office politics and personal relationships. All novels of Bernard Samson trilogies are stand-alone; readers unfamiliar with earlier volumes may have difficulty understanding motives and some of the subtly barbed dialogue. This novel is not as good as his earlier works or his other two Bernard Samson trilogies. The ending is quite tame. Not his best work. Lot of questions remains unanswered. The novel has 340 pages. It is a easy and comfortable read. I will it 3/5.
